Well, here it is. My long awaited pump sitting side by side with my old custom BLM. I modifed the BLM Alot as you can see, the site rail was grinded off in order to allow a timmy bolt pin to be functional. Might be parting it out if i cant fix the damn trigger swith sensativity and the slasher set-screws. (i think they're stripped ]= )

That SS25 is sick! I had a 13/3000 but got rid of it as it was almost too short imo! I'd like to see how a 22/3000 feel's!

Im thinking of sending the BLM to someone on the forum to tweak it, if possible. Anyone up to it? i remember someone had a lil spyder-service going on...

02-23-2006, 12:52 AM
tweak it how? Bomberpilot07 is good at tweaking if it involves LP...

02-23-2006, 10:39 AM
i would perform a "tweaking" (overhaul even), it depends on what you are looking for.

02-23-2006, 11:43 AM
The trigger and microswitch setup needs to be tweaked.

It might need some new setscrews on the slasher(might be stripped, cant get them out or find a alen key to fit) and a magent mod.

Also, im concerened about the blow back. When ever i start shooting, the blowback presses the trigger against my fingers and triggers the gun, creating kind of a bounce, really annoying because at times the hammer doesnt catch the sear. I need to tap the VA so i can install a gauge and check my preshah.

02-23-2006, 11:48 AM
for the trigger problem: do you have magnets installed? those should help. both are nice!

02-23-2006, 11:57 AM

no time. lack of tools.

the magnet mod was pretty easy IMO... just pick a set up from Radio Shack, find a drill bit that matches the diameter of the magnets, then drill into the tip of the trigger and in the base of the ESP. use some super glue and bang, you're done.

as far as the blowback pushing the trigger against your fingers i'm kind of confused. do mean the kick of the marker makes your trigger activate the switch by means of your fingers hitting the trigger?

02-24-2006, 09:48 PM
yea, its really annoying and gets out of control sometimes when trying to shoot fast or control my burst.

I love those SS25s!

Sounds like mechanical bounce. Simple fix is to move your trigger's activation point farther away from the switch. Could also possibly do the magnet mod, which you only need 2 magnets and super glue to do, and possibly a drill bit. Nothing much. ;)

then my firing rate decreases...

i've fixed the set-screw thing, drilled and tapped a new set, so i have control of that now.

The gun just seems slow, i remember a time when it used to rip at a controled rate.

As for the magnet mod, the Radio shacks here suck. Only magnets they had were the size of quarters.
