so far nothing has been made for the MR2.

there are M16 ex chambers but I dont know if they would fit the MR2 properly

you may be able to mod a rap4 expansion chamber to fit inside the mr2 shroud... i could look up the manual and devise a way, but i'm about to hit the sack...

this may be a dumb question but does the expansion chamber only help with co2 or does it help compressed air as well?

mostly CO2 but you can still run nitro thru it.

all it does for the co2 is gives it more space to build up pressure

actually, it gives the gas more space to expand, meaning more consistent pressure output.

I belive that Trinity has an m16 now however someone told me a wial back that it does not sit flush with the marker. I just put my Ak chamber on my MR2 yesterday, my first thoughts were that it is slightly heavy and scratchs really really easily.

I could've swarn that problem was just with the mr1 because of the different size fitting and need for a vertical adapter.

that could be to be honest I dont even remember who told me that and if they were a reliable sorce. I could stand to be corrected, talk to a trinity rep and find out.

either way, I browsed through Trinity before I corrected you and couldn't even find the thing on there. All I found was the AK version.

Yeah to clear things up a little, the body of the trinity AK x-chamber (the metal housing) was made specifically to fit the MR2, it screws into the same holes your original foregrip handle (part #259) and sits flush with the body. They were even nice enough to give you a small rail underneath aswell. Now, the trinity m16 expansion chamber -will- fit onto your MR2 but it does not sit flush with the body, there is no plate that screws into the place I mentioned above. The m16 chamber will screw into part # 253, which is your C/A adapter. If you take the foregrip off, you'll notice that this adapter is already sticking an inch or so out of your body. So, yes, it will work, but you'll have to live with a clip that looks very... uhm... bad! Not flush, not very appealing.

If you were to make your own foregrip, you could attach the M16 chamber and have the adapter hidden by your foregrip, so all you see is magazine, which is something I plan on doing, but I'm not paying that much just for cosmetics. I'll throw up a nasty pic of what I mean. (I sorta abandoned this project until I find a cheap magazine and set everything up for an air-thru stock.)

the regulator you see sticking on there goes exactly where the m16 mag would, outlined poorly in red. So yeah, I think short of doing something similar to this, it wouldn't suit the marker.
I can't wait to find a magazine cheap to put onto that rifle grip I made, cuz I think it looks pretty bad-bum... uhm, you know:rolleyes:

this is the link to the chamber you couldn't find, cyber.
