What is the average rate of fire (BPS) from a high end turniment marker durning a turniment?

it depends on the type of tournament you play. high end guns can shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger so alot of fields have a cap

Tournament marker? :yeahthat:, the general rule of thumb is 15bps. PSP, NXL, CFOA now have the cap set to 13.33bps, though. In an actual NPPL tournament, though, there is no cap, according to the rule book.

Yep NPPL is uncapped semi (Bigred76 and I had a dissagreement about this a few weeks back....needless to say I was right.)

To answer your question, we need to know what tournament you're talking about. In the PSP, and most of the tourneys around here, the average rate of fire is 13 bps because that's the max allowed and they are ramping tournaments.

In the NPPL and other such tournament, it's uncapped semi, but I bet it's only around 15- 17 AVERAGE. (I could have sworn that Ryan Greenspan got caught in an NPPL tournament shooting more than 20 bps and got pulled and DQ'd for it - might have been a PSP tournament though.)

I had thought for sure that the NPPL had capped it due to ramping issues to the 15bps. I was wrong, for a rare occurrence. Even rarer was that Andy was right. ;)

I'll have to look that up, Bryce, that one rings a bell somewhere in my mind too!

Figured I would stop by and bask in the unbeliveble time of Red admitting he was wrong :D ;)
