you should really make sure you have a good spotter. I assume you were benching, and thats kinda stupid of you to either have 1) to much weight or 2) enough weight you cant control.

also, at my school we have safety bars on the side, if it goes too low it will catch. do you all have them?

Non the less, I feel sorry for you. Id hate to have that happen to me

If you were tired, it's too heavy. Fatigue is a killer in workout rooms. Once you get fatigued, put your hands on your head and breath deep for a couple minutes. That'll help get your wind back, and then go back at it. Sorry to hear that your tooth got chipped!

Reason why i have stoped doing much bench, now mostly dumbbell press, (i've maxed out on bench and jumped a lot quicker doing this then reg bench., pec flies, pushups (clap pushups are my fav right now, though do t-pushups, triangle push ups, incline pushups, decline pushups, wide arm pushups lol) Spotters I usaly don't trust in High school, though at my gym I trust them cause they hve been lifting for years lol.

Root canals do hurt.

Hey be glad you have lost all your baby teeth. I got a root canal when I was 7 and the root canal prevented my tooth from falling out so I had to get 3 pulled.
