so i got my phantom in a few weeks ago, and i finally got a chance to take it out and play yesterday. here's a pic of it :D

so anyway, i went with the paintball club i just started at tulane to a popular field about 45 minutes away from new orleans called paintball command. they played a lot of scenario style games with regeneration and stuff. i really wanted to play some speedball, but with regeneration with lots of people on a bigger field, i got to play and shoot a lot more than i would have on an elimination game. so i think i adjusted faster to the pump than i would have otherwise. also, with regeneration, i was more willing to take risks and learn faster.
it was so sweet when i managed to take people out with only one or two balls instead of the 20 or so i'd just lay down hoping to hit someone with my mag cuz i could. it was so small and light, too. snap shooting was amazing (though i really need to work on it to get accuracy down), and i managed to hold my own a couple of times against guys with semis. i got a lot better at it over the course of just the few hours we played.
i also played for about a quarter of the cost of a day of play with my mag, which was awesome since i'm a poor college student. lol
