View Full Version : HP or LP for Spyder RSX...?

For my RSX which size tank should i get...? i was thinking 68ci/4500psi but then what kind of tank High Pressure or Low Pressure? need some feedback... thanks

Why HP for it? not LP?

LP is only really for older spyders. HP is the way to go.

Cool Cool... thanks thats what i bought... i bought a Crossfire 68ci/4500psi Hp tank just couple of days ago...

actually, thats wrong. the only guns that HAVE to run on LP are some angels. it has something to do with too much input pressure on the stock regs. basically, if you're running an LP tank, you'll be putting out less air, so you increase the chance that you starve your reg on your gun for air, among other things

:yeahthat: EXCEPT the part about the Angels. You can flip a couple parts inside the mini-reg and let them use HP tanks.

In all guns, get an HP tank. It will not starve the gun and will be just fine.

There really isnt a point of LP guns. Thats what regs are for, to regulate the high pressure tank for the low pressures. ;)
