I did a major facepalm on this one! I mean, really - how does one get a job like this? I hear about all these "studies" and think, someone actually has a degree to do this, probably a sociology degree. Plus, they probably got a grant to actually perform this "study" hahaha!

"Sleep combats sleepiness" - oh lawd have mercy! I'm glad they figured this one out!

wow. any decent biologist or biochemist could tell you caffeine fights sleepiness because it blocks the adenosine receptors in the brain

what i want to figure out is, what kind of degree do you have to have to become a professional painting restorer/cleaner. i mean, did the guy that repainted the sistine chapel have a degree in art? or how about the guys that touch up all those oil on canvas paintings? do they have chemistry degrees so they know what NOT to mix so they dont ruin the art? because i'm pretty sure they dont just run over it with peroxide and say, "all clean!"

Actually, those guys do have degrees, usually in Art History. (I have an Art degree myself, though not in Art History.) It does require a bit of knowledge in chemistry so that the chemicals used don't interact with the canvas/pigments that were used during [insert era here].

Hahaha, well, actually - now that you mention it...I was taking classes to fly, but the cost and time required were too much for me so I stopped for awhile.

I've lived a long time, fellows. A person tends to collect some things/skills after awhile!

The same people doing some of these studies are the same people that haven't figured out that sex is a cure for horny.

There are other methods of curing said "disease" though.
