So I saw this thread on PBN, and thought it would be interesting to see what people said here.

If you could have a one-on-one learning session from anyone, who would it be with and why?

Id have to say one person I would love to learn from Ben Franklin on life, just like what he did with everything back in the day.

philosophy is pretty simple. It's getting people to think you're smart while "philosophizing" (http://mw1.m-w.com/dictionary/philosophize) that's tough. Anyone can make up BS conclusions and argue quantum mechanics/multiple worlds theory makes their logic sound and be pretty much right, but it takes a real genius to make logically sound conclusions in OUR UNIVERSE(as it is commonly perceived).

Since SRV is my favorite guitarist I'd love for him to teach me guitar. Although, I don't think he'd be great at it because he couldn't even read music. Satriani would be good as well since he taught at Berkley before he cut a record deal.

On top of SRV and Satch/Vai (since Satch taught Vai) I'd have to add Zakk to the list. Maybe B.B. King and Kenny Wayne Shepheard as well. I love blues and rock.
