so i'm in the market for a clamping feedneck. the two i'm looking at are:
NDZ Low Rize (http://www.actionvillage.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/DisplayProductInformation-Start;sid=UbGQs6WvD_GQJuJfRGFQG68JWZxVekgUp4w=?Pro ductID=SZXAqArb%2eGsAAAEMf5A0DBcL)
CCM No Rise (http://www.actionvillage.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/DisplayProductInformation-Start;sid=UbGQs6WvD_GQJuJfRGFQG68JWZxVekgUp4w=?Pro ductID=efnAqArbPloAAAECrmQ0F1qE)

but i'm open to other suggestions since i know nothing about clamping feednecks. the hopper is an Eggy3, and i'll cut the feedneck, so it looks like the NDZ will actually give me a lower profile, PLUS, it comes in red/black, so it'll match the color combo of my gun.

I like the NDZ better, even if it costs a few dollars extra.

my electro spyder. my mech has a super-low profile plastic hopper on it due to a little ghetto modding. i put electrical tape around the neck, cut the stock neck of the gun, trimmed the feedneck of the hopper, slid it over (its a perfect fit) and it sits about an inch off the gun.

make a spego feedneck

i wouldnt mind it, if someone could link a good ego feedneck. that would actually lower it a lot more too!

hmm. i'm seriously considering it. that would give me a few SOTM cool points too...

wellif it doesnt work out, sell the ego feedneck and get an aftermarket one, worst case senario, your out a few bucks and a stock feedneck...

if vike doesnt chime in by some time tomorrow, i'll shoot him a PM about the ego neck. IIRC, he has one on his spimmy.

Found it! (http://www.freewebs.com/vikesbuildaspimmy/egofeedneckonaspyder.htm)

heck, if vike can do it, so can i!

I say go with the CCM. Everytime Ive used one its never let me down

I have a CCM No Rise but I am using it with a Reloader B so I couldn't tell you how it would work out with an Eggy 3, but thats still what I voted for.

well, i found an ego feedneck for $20 and picked up the rubber hosing for the mod already, so i'll try the ego mod first. i'll probably pick up another clamping neck for my other spyder, so i'm still open for suggestions/votes.

I have both the CCM and NDZ and both work equally well holding an Egg. I voted the CCM because of the customer service, Mellisa is awesome!

just what i wanted to hear, someone with both! are they the same height? the CCM looks a little lower, but the clamping part looks longer, so i wouldnt be able to file the eggy neck down as far.

Just don't get a Trinity...

I bought a NDZ low-rise for my dad's pilot, its nice looking, but installing it is kinda...eh.

I say this because when you go to screw the screws back in you can't get the screw at all because the feedneck pokes out.. kinda hard to explain but ill see if i can get pics later today.(I'm at school :p)
