Taken from PbN, but seeing how none of us go there we won't see it

Personally I think they look awesome, I can only hope to shoot one of them in the future.

WOOT! This means the prices of A1's will go down! Maybe I can afford an A1 now.

Oh for sure the prices are going to gown down.

My guess is maybe around 2-4 months the resale of the fly will be much cheaper (As it is with all guns), and the A1 will be somewhere around $250-$350

Those eyes are far too bright. Any low light situations and every time you snap out, people will see you.

Not to mention... it doesn't talk to you in 5 different languages. :dodgy:

Considering Ego6's and Dm6's were $650 a little bit before the DM8 and Ego8 was released, I don't think it will be likely the A1 will still be at $400.

However this is only a theory and will take time for it to happen, but it will.

See that colorful smiley at the end?

It means he was being sarcastic.

Does anybody know if the reg is removable? Not like the original A1 minireg, but with ASA threads.

You're talking about a gun 2 generations old, and a gun 1 generation old. There's a difference.

A1 fly internals run about $150....so if the price of the A1 drops significantly then you can just grab one of those and the fly internals, and you would basically have the same marker (minus some minor aesthetic stuff). I've been on the waiting list for a few months, but I should be receiving the parts within the next few weeks.

Guys pump brakes for a second...Yes the fly is coming out soon...Yes it is different than the A1 in regards to milling changes (which will equal some weight loss), coming stock with the Magno internals, 3 piece eye covers, an ASA threaded reg adapter so that the mini-reg can be swapped out for the reg of your choice and different programming to the A1 board (that will be flashable to previous A1's if desired) and other changes (New grip panels, "Fly" patterned barrel, trigger and slightly changed grip frame). Honestly I had hoped for more, but am glad to see that APS/WDP if finally moving forward with it.
As for resale on A1's go, I would venture to guess that they are as low as they are going to go, and once everybody catches on that for $400 (lowest I've seen used A1's go for) plus another ~$130 for the magno internals you can basically have the exact same (operationally wise) marker as a $1150 Fly A1 the resale for A1's is not going to drop anymore and may actually rebound a bit. That's just my thoughts at least.
