I recently decided to get into paintball. After reading some reviews I picked Spyder to pe my starter gun. I picked up 2 from some guy on the net. One was a MR1 and the other was this TL that I can't find anything on. Can you guys help me out in findg out which one it is. Also any mods that will help it's performance? Thanks in advance.

welcome to the forums.
That is a regular TL or maybe a TLR or +
That is definitely not a TLX.

read the Ultimate resource thread in my sig for help to upgrade and add better upgrades to your gun.

Ooo la la! It's been a LONG time since I've seen one of those in that good of a shape! Very nice pick-up!

Oh, and it's a TL Plus. The shroud gave it away. http://www.spyder.tv/section/support/diagrams/spyder_tl_plus.pdf This is only the diagram, but it's just like any other rear cocking Spyder when it comes down to it. Heck, any other Spyder for that matter: the only real difference is the bolt sticking out the ass of the gun. ;)

Again, very nice. One of my favorite Spyders of all time, I'd have to say!

I have a old TL as well, I use it as a woodsball marker. As for mods for it I depends on what you want to spend I have a 14" dye boomstick, rocking trigger 2.0, bob long hitman bolt, polsihed striker, and drop foward. I'd start off on a after market bolt and barrel.
