hey guys, I am new to the forum and revisiting paintball after a long 10 years. Nephew got me back into it. Well I bought a mr2 without eyes, and I have been reading for 2 days about the marker. So far I have:

unpacked and inspected
purchased new detents..even though mine has black ones in it
pulled the acs and tie wrapped it (leave it like that for a couple days)
charged battery

I purchased a cheap but fairly quick viewloader revo, hope it is enough for now. Or do you think I should get a egg3.

Anything else I should do before I fire it up?

I'm a complete n00b at this, and the folks here have been real helpful. One suggestion : Once your bolt get un-ziptied, stuff a rag down the feedneck and cycle it (with air) a few hundred times. The zip-tie trick didn't seem do much for my bolt spring, but the rag trick seemed to "soften" it up a bit.

A tank would be a good option as well so you can air it up! LOL! Other than that, you seem to have it all covered! :)
