Overall, I was very impressed with this gun. Not only is it a Super Light Gun, but it's efficient (Around 1600 shots off a 68/45), and it has all of the standard Matrix board features.
And the feedneck, although it isn't a clamp, my B2 fit inside there very nicely, with a snug fit.

My buddy wanted a SLG, and since the Dynasty wasn't going to be fixed anytime soon, he wanted to trade it for a SLG, so I found a good deal, and did it for him.

I threw on the UL just for kicks, the proto 11'' is just sad.

I might have to pick one of these up for myself

I checked one of those out at the Phoenix Open, I wasn't too impressed. Please understand, I didn't get to shoot one, I just held it and played with the trigger. Felt too much like a toy to me. Everyone has different taste and styles though, glad you like it.

Ego8's feel like toy's to me... doesn't mean it's a bad gun though.

Something about how the gun keeps getting lighter and smaller and... uglier since the Ego5's, doesn't really make me want one anymore. If I ever get an Ego, it'll be a SL66 or a Ego5-6.

I will agree, the DM8 is pretty ugly, but I love the sleekness of the Ego8.

And it is true, the SLG feels like a toy, but a totally awesome toy.

i haveta disagree...the dm8 is pretty sexy lol but ive always wanted to try out an SLG. a ul frame for it would be pretty sweet.and as for the feeling like toys thing...a non-UL'd pmr feals like that too me.its just the composite frame

I toyed around with a SLG at the field a little while back... Felt cheaper then a PMR to me. Felt like one of those SP Vibes. (Those feel like ****)
