I bought a ShockTech Superfly top cocking bolt. But what I received was a side cocking bolt. It's too late to return it. I want to use it on my MR1 is it basicly worthless now? or should I try to drill a new hole so it works with my hammer?

You could but it may be very difficult to get it accurate. You would need a good drill press and a vice. Why is it too late to return it? I would try to contact the store or company you bought it from unless you bought it used.

I would do what hoppy says. Call who you got it from & even shocktech. Is there a threaded hole on the rear face? If so you could put a piece of all thread for a cocking rod.
