Sounds like they still have no idea that barely anyone appreciates that trigger frame. Hopefully they wise up and release a Pilot or anything that doesn't have that winner of a trigger frame with eyes too -

Humm i want its body.....

I might just buy one for the body do some more mods and make it my primary.... sounds fun.

Humm maybe kingman could think about using one of the 50g switches they have in the rocking trigger and put it in the normal eframed marker they are going to make with eyes.

nice... to bad it has that trigger or id consider getting one. they should leave you an option for an esp with a little price drop or maybe a new trigger all together ;)

NOPE....we hate it...their tech guru's come up with this stuff and they just put it into play without polling the players' wants/needs. Nor do I believe they offer beta testing under secrecy terms to gain input. They need to:
1. Poll the public as to wants/needs
2. Create a contract for testers. It should contain secrecy clauses (about potential releases), specified periods of use and provisions for the tester to keep the product at the end of the test. There needs to be a full and fair user's assessment form to post completely accurate feedback.
3. Create 2000 (or so) units to be tested all across America (and territories)
4. LISTEN and understand what the testers are saying
5. Take appropriate action to correct any issues found with the tested units.

After all we've seen with aftermarket producers...the "little guy's" that create awesome products...like Lucky, Virtue and Adrenalin to name a few...they always beta test...we never hear of that from Kingman. They may, but we don't know about it. The impression we get (or at least I do) is that their tech guru's come up with ideas and just put them into practice...regardless of what the public wants...instead, they use a cool-looking, computer generated flash demo on their website to puff a product, knowing that no one can physically achieve the 30 bps under that design...

Don't get me wrong...I love my Spyders. I just believe they have so much potential and can sing like the big-boys...if Kingman truly put their heart and sould into making a better marker.

You know what...I think I shall comprise a poll. It will take me a while but at least they will know what we want...

Well i am one that really likes the rocking trigger. For me its just a natural movement. And i like the option of firing as slow as i please or laying a rope when i please. Just try and peek from behind that bunker heheheh

Hob Hayward

I havn't used one, but its probably somthing you need to get used to, it looks as if if the contacts were closer toghether it'd be easier and better, but I dunno..

Geez, I just realized how ugly the rocking trigger with that trigger guard is. Geez, the gun isn't half bad but it's terrible with that frame and trigger guard. I just might have to find me one of these bodies and make a spimmy out it, something worth looking at.

In all Honesty, It reminds me of a Dragun TES, aside from the rocking trigger. Just like the Raven Primal reminds me of the Dragun T1. And what's the deal with the rocking trigger? it seems not too many people like them, anyone care to explain why?

I like the grips and the body. But the barrel doesn't look right, just looks weird with all the milling. Went a little overboard IMO.

do we know yet if it has inline holes and the screwy air fittings. If they chenged thoes it would be a big plus.

**sigh** always the look and not the function.....Body's hot...I'll give it that...but the frame looks a bit wider, grip panels look a bit thinner, feedneck is still 99.87 cubic feet in height and diameter and the asa mounted on the drop looks like the same old, stupid side-by-side mounting bolts used before...the trigger guard around the much hated rocking trigger is fugly but the milled barrel is a plus :eyeroll:...I'm guessing a better attempt to lower the air resistance and coefficient of the player on the field?...come on guys....THINK OUT OF THE BOX!!!

I mean, what, can you go "Yay! Stickies!" but that's about it..

PRIMiLler27

The 90* fitting thats in the reg is standard b/c thats the same one that came on my primal. I like the stickies, body, eyecovers, and barrel, but the feednack doesnt belong.

davidthegr8
03-26-2006, 04:30 AM
i love the way it looks except for the barrel

Hob Hayward
03-26-2006, 06:20 PM
The stickies look nice at first, but then it looks as if they were simply a cheaper version of them...

Somthing that'd be GREAT would be if the bolt pin could be pulled up and the bolt slid out the back, run a squeegee through, just like on the Mongoose, its quite a usefull feature, and if its milled like that then it doesn't have to look all icky when you mill the thing out yourself...
