is the striker buffer (black rubber thing) in front of the striker? how old is the gun? the sear shouldnt be worn down, but it doesnt hurt to check. is your valve in backwards??

Its an 04 spyder imagine. I made sure the buffer isnt in front of the striker. I put a high performance valve in it a little while after I bought it. This gun has got a lot of mods done to it too make it shoot faster but i cant see what would be causing this problem.

hmm, if you have a new valve, your air most likely isnt the problem then. i was going to say that if you have a reg, its output might be too low, but i doubt thats it. what all do you have on there?

Well its got a lot of mods done to it. I did have a regulator on it but it kept freezing up on me. So I took it off and put on a drop forward on with a macroline kit up to my expansion chamber. I could try refilling my co2 tanks just in case they are low.

eh, nothing major, barrel, clamping feedneck, eframe as I said before, its a sonix pro so it has a pilot reg on it too.

a reg like the evil detonator or hpa is always a good investment

I dont know it didnt say I bought it off ebay

TheDarkShadow

no, no I mean you should get a new reg such as the Evil Detonator or get HPA which is also a good investment.

hey man start with the velocity adjuster turn it in if it still doesn't recock itself, try harder spring, if not that check valve o-rings, and also you sear shouldn't be wore out, but when you shoot it does it keep firing til you take air off of it, or not recock, if is the trigger frame it wouldn't stop, it would just keep shooting in a very rapid, fully auto mode, but i would probably say it is a velocity issue, or spring. lmk if i can be of any help to ya.

oh yea and like said earlier hpa is the way to go, not co2

ok i changed the spring on my gun and it fires just fine now thanks how ever i am thinking about changing from co2 to hp air but to fill it i would have to drive 30 miles or into the next state to fill a tank up

well i have the same problem i got two 72/3000 tanks and i fill them up out of a scuba tank it is like a 80cf tank 3000psi and i get about 8 good fills before it won't fill past 2000 psi but still take the tank with you and you can use it there to fill below 2000 and still get alot of shots that way, the tank costs about 6 bucks to fill up, you can find used tanks for less than 100. That method works best. I have an ion and out of a 72/3000 tank i get around 1000 shots, it operates at a very low pressure around 150psi where your imagine operates much higher, but you will still get alot of shots out of one tank probably 600-800. i hope this helps you.
