hahah I wish i could make a spimmy but it looks to complicated for me and my dad has no tools/patience for my custom work:(

But that would definately have to be one of my dream markers right there.

doesnt look too hard.

i know what you mean about not getting help for your custom work. i have to do all my stuff by myself, usually spending after school til dark outside with the dremel. just about the only thing i havent done yet is tap screw holes, but i modded a victor drop to accept reverse rail on/offs (Psychoballistcs & Dead-On) but havent gotten around to tapping the screw holes. whenever i mod my gun, my dad looks at me and goes "WTF???" "what are you doing now?" and finally i guess he got tired of me using his dremel and bought me my own!

How times have changed... I used to make wooden guns / elastic pistols in shop class for my brother all the time...

Nice drawing though.

Have to say it... didn't your parents ever teach you to draw inside the lines? Get out a ruler or anything straight next time for the barrel, the top of it's especially choppy. ;) Other than that, not half bad!

hahah i knew someone would say something after my last post.

but yea it was a quick sketch.. not trying to make a masterpiece, just spark an idea.

I might actually start a spimmy project..

I was biding my time until you finally said it was ok... :D I don't mean to offend, but as one with OCD and is a Carpenter... your ****'s crooked! Spimmy's are great guns, but if I was to make one... I'd buy an Alias and put the parts onto the Spyder. Not quite as "fun" as searching for parts, but a helluva lot cheaper and easier than searching for little bits and pieces.

you know whats funny is theres someone at my field selling an alias...

im tempted...

but short $200:o

Lol, they're the best guns short of Cyborgs I've shot. :) Worth every penny, especially when they're sub-$300 nowadays!

If they're real good, why would i waste my time making it a spimmy when i could just rip an alias!?

people make spimmys because they like to tinker, bulid, and have pride in a gun they've built

basically most people dont build spimmys because they dont have money for a timmy, they do it for the fun and experience

very true.

But it would be a huge pain in my gludius maximus to make one.
For these reasons:
1)Parts need to be found.
2)no tools/dad's got no patience.
3)no $.
4)no skill at all.

most every day people have that problem so they buy timmies, that's why spimmies are special becuase you need all/most of the above
