wow, your pretty far off there bucko

Id definitely say the Protege, or older high ends, like Borgs, DMs and PMs, and Egos.
Timmys are nice, and you can find them hella cheap some places.

I agree it's preference. I prefer Shockers and DM/PM spoolies, but these days you can find all sorts of good guns for under 600 bucks. New AND used...

Just for further clarification, do you mean open BODY guns, or open BOLT guns? Most guns (with the exception of cockers and some older type guns) are open bolt anymore. Open bolts aren't any easier or harder to clean than closed bolt guns, so I'm assuming you mean open BODIED guns.

Open bolt refers to the position of the bolt in it's ready position to shoot - open bolt means the bolt is back (you can see the bottom of the breach when you look down the feedneck and the bolt is hidden by the body.) Closed bolt means that you can see the bolt when you look down the feedneck, and none of the breach.

An ENclosed bolt means that the bolt is enclosed in the body, and has nothing to do with the operation of the bolt (unless it's a spoolie, and then it has to be enclosed because of the nature of the operation.) An open body means you can see the bolt through the body or in the back.

Yea I highly doubt you will find a Vice for under what the person paid for it. They are in very high demand right now.
