My New Marker

I picked up a new marker a few weeks ago, and I threw in a few ups. I modded the grip to allow for the OLED screen. Just though that I would share my new toy with you guys :D

Correct. I have a CP pro mini ASA on my VS2, and it works great. But the grip frame on the DM7 is much smaller so I wanted an ASA that had a front fitting (rather than it coming off the side). The Dye airport ASA comes off the side, and I found it to be somewhat uncomfortable. Sparky highly recommended the BL gear drive so I went with that.

Blacking it out.....You're right. Since I started blacking it out with the screws and fittings, I might as well go the rest of the way and switch out the bolt cap, LPR cap, on/off, trigger & feedneck.....then it would really be a stealth :D I think I'll do that. Thanks for the advice.

The Yakuza is an awesome board. I love the Tadao M7 that I have in my VS2, and the OLED was just the clincher. I hated having to open up the grips to change the settings so the OLED makes life a lot easier. It came with some plexy Stinger grips, but I didn't really like the feel of it (not to mention that they didn't fit properly and I had some pretty big gaps between the frame and grips). So I modded the stock sticky grips by enlarging the cutout; then I grinded out some plexy to make a new window. Blacked it out with a little electrical tape and....VOILA! :yay:

Looks amazing.

Get a black critical trigger, black CP continuous flow plug and then get black parts for the feedneck, lpr and bolt and it will be REALLY nice.:p

Nice job on cutting the window in the stock grips.

I almost built something similar but ended up getting my vice.

Finding a black feedneck, bolt guide, and LPR cap are pretty easy.

Look around on PbN, and check the DYE forum's trading parts thread.
