Who needs those fancy eye covers when you can make a duct tape facia that looks way better! ;)
That "talon thing" is a snatch grip. It doesn't look to bad, but new, non-blurry pics are needed. :)

hey, at least your phone can take pics, and the sad thing is, they're a better quality than indoor pics on my digicam :(

I still love my Ion set ups. I don't care what anyone says they are a good marker for the price.

My hammer's still better than the Ion on what they were made to do... ;)
Get a Lucky 5.1 body if you can find it. They're worth the extra!

Agreed. I got mine for $100, came with a Freak (new style) with a AA tip, freak tip, Max'd body, Stock body, QEV, CP trigger, S-Rail, SP On/Off, Clamping feedneck, sl33k lube, the origional box, instructions, and parts/o-ring kit.
It shoots +/- 7 over the chrono and I'm very happy with it in terms of a back up/friend gun. Best ION I've ever shot and it's practically stock.
(I had to put a Virtue Easy On it because the kid I let borrow it at the last NPL broke the on/off button clear off the board and bent the on/off cover button. He paid for it.)
Only other thing I'm putting on it is a Dust CP on/off and Virtue Blue eyes. (stock eyes aren't that great)
Hard to see the gun, better pics pweeeze. What's she running over the chrono?

she runs +/- 4 at 280 fps. at 15 bps on semi auto, yes i can actually do that. i forgot how many shots i can get outta my tank but its close to 1500.

They're suppose to get close to 1600 off a 68/4500.
I know what you mean by the semi too. My CP trigger makes it possible for me to go 15... not consistently, like ramping, but I can still do it.

Honestly i liked my ion. I only played with it twice while i was in the middle of a gun trade. But to be honest I was HIGHLY impressed by the lil sucker. Shot straight, compact, & durable. I played the entire time with my eyes off (because the stock eyes were on the fritz) and never even had as much as a chop. From My little bit of experence with them they are great lil guns. The main reason I didn't keep mine (as a back up) is the process of taking apart the whole gun to lube the bolt. :( (just a lil flustrating)
