Honestly I'm not positive, I'm pretty sure it's a critical trigger...since I got all the parts from Critical, maybe he can confirm that.

Ya know I was going to but I just can't seem to get confortable w/parting with it...that and the guy at the field ended up being more talk then cash :D

How do you like the ripper? I miss the stock trigger on my old Empire II, I loved that thing.

The ripper is flat-out incredible, no kick, extremely efficient and actually weighs 1 oz less than my A1 (w/o barrels), which surprised me because it looks larger and bulkier than the A1. Now that I have the Pulse's RF transmitter chip working in it, it flat-out rips. The display and board programming options is vastly inferior to the A1's, but hopefully the new Tadao board w/oled forthe gen 4's will be released soon.

Hmmm, I wonder... What's lighter: my Borg or your Ripper3? PBReview has two weights, and I don't know which is more accurate (1.6lbs without reg/barrel and 1.4lbs). Could you weigh it on an accurate scale with the regulator and ASA on it for me? :)

2.1 lbs w/Cp reg and DP RAPS ASA. It's safe to say the Borg is lighter.

Nice vid though. I want your guns.:D

Really? I thought that it was lighter.... The Borg's a smidgen over 2lbs without ASA from the factory, I don't know how much the 2k5 CP on/off and Empire rail weigh, so it's probably just about the same.

No excuses! I was wearing jeans in FL with 90+ degree weather in 90% humidity! I don't want to hear it! :p

Maybe I just don't like my hairy legs...

I'm honestly not a fan of the last gen Timmies. (This new gen, especially the Vice, are attractive and effective) But that Ripper is very nice. I love the colors.

The Spimmy needs a black CP Shorty :p

:yeahthat: The Gen4's were mostly "eck." The Ripper milling's were always sick, even back to the Autococker days.

MVS, you know, I think that they're just about the same weight if they're only 2.1 lbs! The Cyborg right from the factory with no ASA is just a smidgen over 2lbs (like 33oz or 2.0615lbs), so with the Empire rail and CP 2k5 on/off I have on mine right now it might just be the same weight.

I felt the same way, but the milling and price was just too much to pass up, I'm extremely glad I didn't. The ripper definitely changed my opinion of the gen 4's. It helps to buy it from somebody that knew what they where doing in regards to setting up timmy's as well (he used to own IntimidatorOwners.com, which should ring a bell with some of the guys that have been over there for a while).

As soon as I get my hands on a chrome accent kit for my A1, the chrome CP is going on it and the Black CP shorty is going on the Spimmy. I can't wait till HB so I can walk up to the CP tent and drop 4 reg's and a tank reg and say "You guys have a great product, I'll be back to get these when your done servicing them for FREE :D:D".

Tim go ahead and send me the Borg and I'll weigh it for you on my MILSPEC calibrated scale, be sure to included the barrel, Oh wait Macdev's are cocker threaded so don't worry about that, and I'll get it right back to ya. :D

Sure, but I want to try that Ripper out... ;) I've offered Dan a trade for his Ion for a week to prove a point, but I was merely joking then, this one's cereal. I've never felt a Ripper before!

Will do brother, too bad Tim beat me to getting your Spimmy, that would have made one hell of a collection.

:butwiggle: I snagged that Spimmy at just the right time... We'll have to arrange a time and place to meet up sometime in about a month, about then I should have all my paintball stuff settled. That'd be the perfect time to swap for a day. You can even clean the Cyborg while I clean the Ripper3 for the whole experience. :)

I have gone to CP's on all my markers and tanks, everybody has their favorites. CP's are mine...consistant, exceptional recharge rate, easy to maintain and a very straightforward design, I highly recommend them.
