Ok first forgive me I am new to all this. My kids started playing and want me to play more with them and I hate the rental guns. Thinking about buying a Spyder Imagine from one of their friends it has a rocking trigger, upgraded LPC, Dye sticky grips, clamp on feedneck, drop forward reciever, an aftermarket 12" barrel(??) and not sure what other upgrades it has.

here are a couple of pix of it:

He wants $150 what do you think.

Thats not worth 150 bucks. I'd try and talk him down to about 60-70.
Spyders never really had a good resale value.

I personally love my imagine. It's great and never fails me. So if you can lower him down quite a bit, it'll be a good pick up.

yeah $75ish sounds about right to me unless he is throwing in a hopper and tank

Yeah I just bought an ABomb for $150 so def not worth that much. I would offer like the others $60-$70

He's throwing in a 12 or 20oz. co2 tank. The hopper he has is a gravity feed one I believe.

I'd say 70 at most. It's really not worth much. Like Dre said, you can find alot better guns for that price. Ion's for 100ish,some older timmys for 150, or pm5/dm4 for 180-200 ;)

the seller's trying to take advantage of a new player (in this case, you) and is trying to reclaim the original cost of the marker/set up for a used set up. The player's pack at WalMart costs $149.95 (here it does, anyway)...figure any marker/set up will resale at approx 60% of it's original or total value (if upgraded).

yeah as what they all said it is not worth $150, maybe half of that. I think what his philosophy towards selling it is: the whole is equal to the sum of its parts which in some cases is true but not today

$150 is to much. $75ish maybe. They really have poor resale value it's sad to say. The 04 Imagine is a good gun though. I use one as a backup. I've had little or no problem with it.

My bud had one, but sold it after one day he ran through MIST and the electronics basically cut out

I have to agreed with everybody else, its a really good gun but its only worth about $70-80 maybe.
