Hey guys.. I have a Spyder Pilot ACS, with rocking trigger, and a CP 14" barrel. I am thinking about putting a board in it. As well as getting a new hopper for it. What kind of these, as well as what other upgrades do you guys reccomend for this gun? Thanks.

Oh yeah I was also wondering if I should put a spring kit and new valve in it as well. What do ya'll ( yes I am from the south!) think?

if you are going to get a new hopper, you should really get a clamping feed neck, that way the hopper is held in better and it doesn't stick up so far. i really don't konw much about hoppers, i use a revy (VL revolution) and it feeds plenty fast (i play woodsball) but with my limited knowledge i would say you should get an eggy (VL evelution) for maybe a halo.

as for the spring kit, yes that would be a good idea, as for the valve, i don't think you need a new one unless you are going LP.

for the hopper i would say a vel. jr but first get a clamping feed neck.

about the board a tadao or a virtue would work fine

if you want a hopper thats just about the best on the market, then get a halo b belt driven with rip drive from actionvillage.com

i would say to get a t-board. as far as i know they will work with the rocking trigger. as for the hopper, i would say to get a vl evoIII with z-board. they feed 23 bps. first theing though would be a clamping feedneck and a new set of grips to protect your board.

EGG hoppers are not able to keep up with my friends pilot acs. His is stock and it shoots way to fast for the hopper to keep up

i think it was a II......im not sure but it just couldnt keep up. I dont see him use it that much any ideas what could be done to either slow down the gun or speed up the hopper?

all hoppers would work on a gun however if yor using a dm8 with an egg (i dont care what model) and you upgrade to a hopper that feeds faster you will be able to shoot faster and if you cant shoot any faster it is most likely casue you have slow fingers.

also i dont think that they feed 23 bps i know that the fasta doesnt feed 30 but it says that it does.

i used an egg 2 with z board on my mini and when i upgraded to a jr there was a big difference.

I would get new grips (Dye Stickies) cause if your gun gets hit in the stock grips your electronics may not feel so good.:( I also recommend a clamping feed neck. I got a trinity and it works good. Hopper- I got a eggIII and it works great.

id say that my stickies are probably my best investment so far. they are comfortable as hell and like 1shot said, they will prtect your electronics

I was also wondering with the set-up that I have. What is the best fps to run on to get the best distance and accuracy? I am new to tunning guns, and would like to keep up with some of the guys that I play with.

275fps. ;) The chronograph is your best friend, but typically, 275fps is the limit.
