View Full Version : I think I'm in love - with a barrel kit, that is!

I think I found my next barrel kit...

Note: I don't know if this is news or not, so if someone says differently, I'll move it.

They look pretty cool to me - kind of partial to the Wasteland version myself. According to the company's site, only 80 of each style is being made. No wonder they're 150 bucks for a kit!

"These barrels have been designed in conjunction with Adam Connelly so you know that they will definitely have the accuracy that you are looking for.

Not only are they super light, crazy accurate, and come in a sweet case, but they also come with three different size barrel backs. The three sizes included are .689, .692, and .695, all of which are printed on the barrel for easy identification.

These barrels are now being used by the some of the players on the Pro team Impact, so you know that they are definitely worth checking out.

The price tag on these beauties is $149.99. Pick a kit up now and start blasting your opponents in the face!!!"

Vike maybe you should write them a letter about our little project! The main website although very generic is up and I'll be working some more on it soon!

look nice but i would of liked to see one more size smaller then .689 included

I wouldn't mind the Tank Steel, Storm, or Lightning... but thats too expensive for my taste.

I'd probably go with the Black Camo, but I've gotta agree with Ace, it'd cost about as much as the gun it'd be going on. ;)

The gun it'd be going on... well guns... one would be 1/3 the cost of the barrel kit, the other costs 1/2 more then the cost of the barrel kit. Hahaha. So... eh.

Sorry, i don't see what's so special about them...

Todays paint is all small bore and with a .689 being the smallest size your paint to bore match wont be all that great, though today i guess everyone is about over-boring to avoid breaks. Also, with such a small control bore (I'm assuming the threaded section and first inch are the control bore) there wont be much benefit of their backs anyways, other then to act as a detent which then goes along with my first opinion.

Oh well, just my opinions. They are pretty, but i think you could do better for the money.

the backs are the same as hammerhead fins. Those fins help alot, they are long enough, there is no need for a freak sized insert. Those are too long.

love the looks, hate the look of the price tag...
