Can I use a 3-in-1 multipurpose lube on my gun or do I have to use a gun specific lube?

Also can i use a lube specificly designed for O-rings or again do i have to use a gun specific lube?

Id suggest to use the paintball oil for your spyder. It doesnt cost much and it works very well

3-in-1 works fine for spyders Its the recommended lube for cockers, but the stock hammer oring (red one) will swell up, the black ones are cheaper and more durable anyways.

Go to your local bike shop and buy tri-flow if your shooting a spyder or any marker that doesn't require grease! Great stuff!

I use Slick Honey and regular 'ol paintball oil on my Spyders, depending on what's closer to hand. Both work well.

I have used Rem-Oil, which is a firearm oil, for several years now on all of my spyders & other people's blowbacks that I had to work on.
