what is the difference between the bounce & break beam eyes?
and how do each operate?

i think that one requires two eyes and the other only needs one, but i am not sure

Breakbeam eye operate by passing a signal between a transmitter eye and a receiver eye. When the beam is broken, that tells the circuit board that there is a paintball loaded, and the marker is ready to fire. Bouncebeam eyes operate with just one part, that combines the transmitter and receiver into one unit. When a paintball passes the eye, the beam bounces off the shell of the ball, back to the eye, and is received by the circuit board to tell the marker it is ready to fire.

Breakbeam is more reliable if you're wondering.

If you have bounce beam you will need to be careful on the types of paint you use. Some colors don't work well with bounce beam eyes.

what colors work better? (i assume brighter colors) does it matter what color the eyes are?
