would a dye or empire tank cover fit on my steelie? the 48 looks to small for it so would the 68 size fit on it?

You dont need a cover for your metal tank, the covers are meant to protect the fiber and epoxy tanks from getting chipped and damaged in ways that will effect their strength. Buy a thread protector and a fill nipple cover, that all your tank needs. If you want better grip just use some grip tape.

yes i know that, but i dont want to use grip tape. Im going to buy a carbon fiber tank probally in a few months, so im gonna get one anyways. So i thought i could get one that fits my tank that i got right now, aswell as my new tank
