View Full Version : A New Look...

Well, I had my PM6 and it started out looking like this....

And with help from Daddy's Custom Anodizing, it now looks like this....

I wanted to get the factory bright red dust PM6, but they were no longer available when I purchased this one... at a very VERY nice price. I contacted Daddy's Custom Ano after seeing BAMF's review... Thanks Hacker!!!

Daddy's received my parts on 01-11-08, and I had it back in my hands on 01-18-08. Talk about a fast turnaround time!

The pictures don't do it justice... it looks almost like a dark pink to me (in the pictures), but in front of you it looks like a darker red, almost like a "cinnamon" color.

I am really happy on how it turned out. There is one spot where the anno didn't take or it was missed. It is very minor. The person with Daddy's (Blake), who I was in contact with, had no problem with me sending it back if I didn't approve. Since it was very minor, I figured I would leave it...it gives it a little character! :) I think the only other flaw was caused by USPS. When I got the box of parts back, it was totally beat to crap. Yes, I was very impressed by the Postal Service. The parts were very well packaged and I figured they would be fine even though the box was destroyed. I got everything out and found a small nick in a portion of the Hyper2. I can live with both "blemishes"... this way I won't be so worried to put the first one on myself! :D

So, here is my "new" PM6 thanks to Daddy's Custom Anodizing. I wanted to show everyone how mine turned out and how good of an experience I had with Daddy's Ano. Blake knows how to run a business...and he knows how to take care of his customers.

I know Hacker has it already listed, but here is their website again...

Hope you like....

I was hoping for a red that matched the Dye cover...it is pretty close. Like I said, it looks much better in person.

Thanks for the comments everyone.... Even you Dave! ;)

I have LOTS of Reloader B shells...including a couple red ones! :)

I am trying to get it back up and running, but I have a horrible leak coming from the Hyper2 that I am trying to figure out. UGH
