UL Barrel

I was thinking of buying a Dye Ultralite barrel

Are they worth the $100 if i buy one new?
Is there somehitng where i can buy a UL barrel kit? I say one on Ebay but I was not sure if they were bought seprate.

EDIT:What bore size should i get?


Edit Again:Would the Proto Front I have fit on the UL back?

Do Autococker threads fit a SE PMR?

no you can get them for much much cheaper,

backs go for $30-$50 fronts same thing. just look around i got mine for $25 shipped both back an front

buying a proto front will be like $10-$20 cheaper

Buy used from pbn, you will be able to get the front and back under $50.

If your only getting one size back get a .693

If you buy used you can get the front and 3 backs (.684, .688, .693) for about $100-$125 depending on the deals you find.

-Not to hijack the thread but what about the Deadly Wind barrels? I've heard good things about them and you can use swabs on them too.

If you were to spend 100 dollars on a barrel, and not get a kit, I would get a stiffi.
