So.. I'm in need of a hopper....

It looks like I sould probably think about replacing my Reloader 2... long story short, last year I took up pb, saw it and figured, 14bps, I could never hit that... well... it turns out that 14 bps is probably rated while the hopper was in a paintshaker upside down with the lid removed.. so... My local pb shop has been having a sale for the last month, no tax. And I'm debating another Empire hopper, as I like the sound activation feature, that way it's cycling every time I fire the gun.

The Options

Empire Magna - Has a laundry list of options, including selectable feed rate, spring tension, torque, gun synching, and RF transmitting - $150

Empire Reloader B2 w/ Rip - Adjustable gun synching, motor speed and spring tension - $140

Empire Reloader B w/ Rip - Sound activated - $110

Halo B - $100

Halo B V35 w/ Rip - $120

VLocity Jr. - 1 force setting, instant auto anti-jam, eyes - $110

VLocity - 3 force settings, anti-jam, eyes - $130

XSV Vlocity - 5 force settings, clockspring propeller, anti-jam, eyes, LI-Ion batterys - $130

I basically want something that'll keep up with my marker, and not need replacing if I buy something higher end.

I voted for the favorite one that I own... VLocity. It is VERY fast and with an upgraded board, it is excellent on batteries. If I voted for something that I don't have, it would be the Magna. From the looks of it, they are the top hopper. Good luck with your purchase!

i voted XSV cause in my opinion the vlocitys are one of the best then i would say a magna

Just get the Vlocity Jr.... It will outload your shooting 90% of the time, unless you play uncapped semi (and rock) or you use super ramping.


I marked used next to the ones you should never buy new anymore, something else is cheaper and better than them.
