im a big boy i can handel the extra oz. lol, so i could buy board and basically be doing more, other than the lightness

I'm not certain for the PM7, but for the PMR the stock frame is actually less weight than the ul frame. but yes the differences are nicer frame, nicer trigger and I believe its just a UL board, and the board ( I don't think the board is any different from stock either, a side from the shape.)
