why does everyone hate those things, personally i would rather spend 475 on a nerve than 285 on an ion. they come with an ACTUAL reg, instead of that P.O.S. SP puts on the ion, that they CALL a reg. it also has a good on/off. and a qlock to boot. also cycles a LOT faster. better trigger to add.

o and, lol, the barrel is MUCH better than the thing SP calls a barrel on an ion.

Actually the Ion reg is the highest flowing reg SP makes...

Nerve=Imp

for 475 its far more worth it than a shocker imo. flow isnt everything.

Nerve's are great marker's not sure why we don't see very many out and about.

Nicely upped Ion>Nerve
Stock Ion<Nerve
Any Imp<Nerve

IMO

A nerve is essentially a Imp with a better body and a few ups.

imo the nerve being able to keep movement internal gives it an edge over timmies which use external movements... but its very clear which one is succeeding and which isnt.

Wonder if Smart Part's is closing them out to come out with something else!

Species timmy's are internal, i dont really see how its that much of an advantage

The Nerve is not a bad marker. In fact it's my next gun. The problem is, Smart Parts can't move the nerve at $900, but at $500 it fills a great niche left by the Imp.

i'd rather get a shocker than a nerve...getting the nerve is like going back in time...in terms of technology.:)

I've seen them going for $300-400 used and those are with ups. I actually saw one the other day for $350 with a full SS Freak Fit. I like the gun but never thought it was worth the $1000 price tag. I've seen it in action though and it can rip.

Next thing you know, someone will be telling you an Ion is a better marker lolz -

Are we talking stock out of the box an Ion is a better marker, disregarding price as a comparison? If so I'd have to disagree, from a performance stand point that is.

no, I think the consensus is that a nicely upped ion is better

At $475 I'd pick the Nerve over the Ion and Shocker. I've shot one before and there just really nice marker's.

ya that high flowing reg is exactly what puts me at 400 shots with a FULL 48/3000 tank on my ion with QEV:dodgy:

o and dwell 14 clicks, and psi 140-150.

chubb0rz
02-16-2006, 03:53 PM
lower your dwell and up your pressure to 180, i bet you get quite a few more.

Nerve> ion

nerves are very nice and have nice boards(stock) they shoot really nice and aren't everywere like some guns *cough ions cough*

if i wouldn't have just picked up the dark shocker i prolly would have bought a nerve

im with him, you hardly ever seen people running around with nerves anymore, much less little kids.
