Yup, going in for a surgery on my collar bone today. I broke it snowboarding last Monday, and even though they usually don't fix broken clavicles, the doctor recommended it because it was such a bad break. The displacement of the bone is over 3cm and he said the chance of it healing correctly on it's own is about 80 percent or less and I'd most likey have a physical deformity in my shoulder and have problems down the road. Soo I get a plate in my shoulder holding the bone together =]. Wish me luck guys! lol,

the new machines are supposed to be like the luggage checkers where they can see everything, so they shouldn't give you problems in the future.

Damn Bro, I feel for ya, busted collar bone sucks. Busted mine playing football in high-school and didn't know it. Xray-s years later (after I came in the military) showed the break (and the factured jaw that I'm pretty sure happened in the same game as well). Glad to hear the doc is taking the steps to make it right. G/L, keep us up-to-date as things progress.
