VS2 detents and reball

Have anyone else problem with the stock detents and playing with reball?

It didn't take any longer than a half pot before one of my detents where ripped out of it's socket and flew out the barrel with the balls.

After installing two new detents the same thing happened after a short while also.

Now I have managed to "McGyver" on a pair of etek detents but that's hardly a long term solution.

So please, guys, tell me if you have had the same problem or if you can give me some tips of what other detents that really fit and work with reball I can use?

I've always put a little oil on the detents to prevent that.

I've never had that problem, but I always oil my detents before and after I play. I've also heard that other people enlarge the detent notch on their bolt. Try oiling it up first before you start chopping away at your bolt.

When my buddy had his VS2, the detents always popped out with reballs. I took out one of the detents (only when shooting reballs) and it worked great.

Try oiling it up the detents first. I shoot reballs all the time at home, and I have no problem with both detents in.

What oil do u recommend for the eyes?

Gold cup....for the detents and o-rings. No need to oil the eyes, but always keep the eyes clean.
