Hi all.
New here, but I wanted to share a modification I made to my shoulder stock that I don't think I've seen here. I love my MR1, but to me the only major design flaw was how hard it was to attach and remove the stock. Fiddling with that little screw? A huge pain. So I took a drill press, put a hole in the side of the gun and through the attachment point of the stock, and behold: (sorry, the pics are a little large)

Conveniently, the hole I had to drill was almost exactly 1/4", so it was really simple to do.
I ordered a second pin of the type that holds in the velocity adjuster from Kingman, but they sent me this other shiny silver quick-release thing instead [below, left]. It works very well, although the new pin has to be used to hold in the velocity adjuster- it's about a millimeter too short to hold in my stock, but the original one does the trick for that. I would really like a matched set of pins though, so if anyone happens to have an extra one of the smaller, darker pin [below right] lying around that they'd be willing to sell or trade, please let me know!

Oh, and just for kicks, here's a photo my marker at the moment:

MR1, 14" J&J Ceramic Barrel with an AK47 shroud from an A4 barrel (this took a bit of doing), Carry handle and red dot scope. Not pictured: handmade grips of wood and epoxy putty- the paint's still wet.
