View Full Version : PSI Question

Hello Everyone

I am new to the paintball sport and have recently purchased a vs3 and have a quick question. I have used my new vs3 marker over the past few weekends and have noticed during games that the psi gauge on the marker will increase from 220 to 300 pretty quickly. Is there something I am doing incorrectly? I am using a 72ci / 3000psi compressed air tank.

The marker is completely stock except for a Diablo TSA motorized hopper. Thanks in advance for the advice!

Did you break in the reg?

I would say that I have only shot approximately 1000-1500 rounds through the marker. Is this more of a "breaking-in" problem that will work itself out?

I noticed that I began to have problems towards the end of the day and the psi began to spike on the marker.

I'm wondering if that particular reg. has 5 or 6 shims. I've noticed that the reg.'s that have 5 shims are prone to do that.
