Well just get a nice Dye, Smartparts, J&J barrel, it's just personal preference really. You really only need one single bore size. A huge kit may seem like a nice investment, but only the first 6 inches gets the bore size, and in the rest the barrel the ball is sort of bouncing or hovering around.

Most people go for .689, but I personally just stay with .691. It gives me some room if I choose to use the not so great offbrand paint.

I have to say that at the moment my favorite barrel is my Lucky 15 barrel. It's a larger bore, so most paint fit through it, single piece, and 15 inches long. I haven't had a barrel break once since I got it and it's the most accurate barrel I've used to date.

All I've got is a 16" J&J, not many breaks, and the ones I have I attribute to white box paint, switching back to stinger for a bit.

Anyone have any opinions on the Empire Revolver or Evil Pipe kits?

I like the UL, my friend has one on his LP cocker and its so accurate and quiet!
