It's a freak back with a modified All American front that works with the APEX adapter. Supposedly, it started shipping out this week.

Ugly as ****. I wouldn't use it no matter how good it shoots.

Well, the back is the standard Freak back, so...MSRP of $50, and the APEX adapter isn't included, just shown for reference, so...whatever that costs, this is just the All American Freak front that can use the APEX system.

wow, wouldn't the apex kind of defeat the purpose of the freak?
i mean the freak makes them shoot straight, the apex makes them curve.

It's all about controlling the curve. Using the proper freak insert, you'll have nice, tight patterns with your shots. Adding the APEX tip, you should (supposedly) now be able to maintain those patterns, so when you curve the ball, it's the same curve each time.

^^ yeah, thats how its "supposed" to work, not sure if it will be 40 (+$12 for insert so really 52 bucks) bucks better than the normal apex
