Yes he does. They are 4 different organs for his life. Without them, hes not human. :dodgy:

How do you install a reg? Its this new technology where you screw it in. Ah tis amazing. The reg is a simple tool. It does this amazing thing called regulating air pressure. Man its so amazing.

First you need a reg. adapter or front block. I'd suggest getting a CP reg. adapter. Then you'll need a regulator. Then you'll need a new asa, you can get either direct mount or rail type. Most asa's don't include macro fittings so you'll need one of them. Then you'll need new macroline. Then wallah you've just spent more money then you needed to have a nice VS2.

so well without spending all that money how else can i upgrade my VS2 besides a barrel kit?

You will need to replace the "hose thingy" if you get a new reg & ASA. The stock macroline fittings have a different threads than the CP reg & ASA. I think that the new fittings that I got were 1/8". As for the hose itself, just get a new one and cut it to length. If you get a braided steel hose, get one that's around 4".

Honestly there's nothing to upgrade on the VS2 except for a barrel kit. The gun shoots great stock. Everything is personal preference.

well where do i put the ASA... HOw do i mount it?

you dont need a reg adapter if you get a front block. Its one or the other. ASA goes under the frame.

If you get a front block you don't need a reg. adapter. If you keep the stock front block which I suggest then you need a reg. adapter.
Then you need a regulator to screw into the reg. adapter or front block.
Do you understand now?

haha thanks guys im gonna have a sick VS2 but not as sick as swooshes He is a beast!! But mine will b tiite cause i got that blue stuff he got that red! yea but ALL I NEED IS THE MACRO LINES should i get the 90 elbow? How many of those??!!!

swoosh81
01-10-2008, 05:28 PM
Most asa's require a 90* fitting if their on/off. So you'll only need 1 90* fitting and 1' of macroline. Check hobbyhorse (www.macrolineguy.com) in the b/s/t section. He has the best prices around. Go ahead and buy some Dow 33 for the reg. o-rings while your at it, that is if your getting a CP reg. I used Dow 33 on my reg., valve and frontblock o-rings and have had good luck with it.

So i only need 1 foot...after looking at my VS2 i think i need one elbow except there are SWIVEL and NON for elbow and one straight and also idk how to put everything together idk where to put the hose or where run everything through!!!

Get at least one 90* fitting (for the ASA). The second fitting (for the reg) can be either a 90* or a straight....its all a matter of what you prefer (aesthetically). I used two 90*s but I've seen pics of people using one of each.

As for the lube, which one is used for the different parts? I used Dow55 on my front block and valve body. I heard that Dow55 swells o-rings and therefore shouldn't be used for moving parts. So what should I use on the rest of my gun? I've been using gold cup for everything else, but I haven't lubed my new reg and ASA. Should I use gold cup for these too or should I use something else?

Get the swivel so you don't have to try and turn the fitting more then you have to, to get it to line up. I'm not quite sure if the CP shorty reg. comes with a 90* fitting or not. The CP long comes with a straight fitting.

http://www.pbreview.com/productpics/?product=4859&photo=17645 will that set up work with the reg.?? Is that a Long or Shorty Reg?

if you get the long you need a dropforword or youll have a big loop like in your macro line like me, but it doesnt hurt just uses more line, also dont try thing about putting a 90 degree on the long cp reg because then you just end up with a shorter reg than the shorty
