I just got a vs2. Ion was p...ing me off and I had a gift card. Anyway, I noticed something weird. When firing the gun in semi works just fine. If I start ripping it and shooting fast the marker would work for a string of about 5 shots then jackhammer. Could have been old battery, so I am charging the new one and will try that. Also psi was about 200. My question is- should I adjust the pressure up a little?

Other question- what oil or lube should I use? I currently have gold cup oil and dye sleek.

use the gold cup oil. If you use HPA open up the asa and take out the gold filter. Break your reg in and make the pressure at about 230 while trying to break the reg in. After you take the filter out here is a little reccomendation. Tefflon tape everything. If that doesn't work go to swoosh for help.

Ok I Had The Same Problem With What Your Talking About. It Is "Jackhammering" Because Your Reg Is Not Broken In. Im Telling You Now This Is Not An Exaggeration. You Will Have To Go Through About 5-10 Tank Fills To Break In The Regulator.

On The Oil Im Not Very Good With That Stuff. I Have Never Used Oil And I Dont Really See And Reason To Use It For Now Anyways.

Also Me And Another Guy On These Forums(Faithalone) Run A Website Called TISK TISK TISK. We Have Alot Of Things On This Site. But We Are Currently Switching To New Forums Because The Ones We Have Have Been Spammed By Porno And Advertising Spammers. So If You Would Make A User Name On The Forums I Would Gladly Activate You And Then You Can Ask All Your Vs Questions There.

EDIT: When Your Breaking Your Reg In Keep The Pressure Above 250 Psi For Now. When You Break It In You Will Be Able To Run It Closer To 200 Psi.

Thanks

Raise your reg. pressure between 225- 275 till the reg. is broken in. It normally takes 2-3 cases of paint for this to happen. Gold Cup oil is the preferred lube for all Spyder markers. I normally tell guys to use Dow33 on the valve and front block o-rings. You should also drop 2-3 drops of oil into the asa and dryfire 20-30 times with the barrel off.
As far as the battery, charge it for 6-8 hours before using it. You'll also notice that the board will slowly drain the battery down. After a complete charge the battery will be dead within 3-5 days. I normally charge mine up the day before and take the battery out till I play.

That's funny, I love guys taking credit for what I did. Then they wonder why I get angry with them.
