Hopps, if you rode a sled instead of a bumblebee I would have more respect for you :p

Hoppy, Hoppy, Hoppy, when are you going to learn. Polaris sleds are like waaaaaaaaay better than that Ski-Doo stuff. My cousins have all Ski-Doo, and my other cousins have all Polaris, and I have to say Polaris>Ski-Doo
*EDIT*
Try one of these babys out > Polaris Turbo Dragon (http://www.polarisindustries.com/en-us/Snowmobiles/Performance/FSTDRAGON/)

Other than that, looks like you had fun oh and, sweet wheelie

You have obviously not taken a ride on the Rev platform let alone the new Rev XP platform.

I would rather ride Cat than Polaris.

**EDIT** This is not my first snowmobile trip ever, just the first of the year. Clearing up any confussion.

Ski-doo makes sick sleds......I still choose Yamaha though! For those of you who don't know some of those sleds make more HP than most cars......LOL.....but is it a wheelie if they have no wheels?

A... trackie?

This makes me miss living in the bush.... although... our machines were far more ghetto than that... it's not broken in if the cowl isn't held together with the proper combination of duct tape, zip ties and rivets. ;)

Great pics man.

A few of my cousins have snowmobiles, they are always fun to take out. I could afford one, but I doubt I'd buy one...They just don't seem practical to me. Only be able to use them for a fraction of the days in a year. I'd much rather have a quad.

At least you can use a quad year round. :P
My cousins put a sled on the back of their quad and pull people. Its pretty fun.

Oooook. Here are some pictures from the second snowmobile trip I took this break. This trip was in the LP this time and we stayed at my friends condo at Shanty Creek Resort.

Lake that had about two feet of powder on it

Trail as it just started snowing the first day. We literally got 4-6 inches in an hour.

Here is a video (http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v145/Hoppy11/?action=view&current=MOV02114.flv) of my friend and I racing. He is riding a 08 800x and Im on a 06 Mach Renegade 1000cc. Yes he wins but Im not really ashamed because there really isn't a sled out there right now that touched the 800.

do you remember the top speeds?

Hoppy11
01-06-2008, 08:19 PM
We both reached 105

Tito=PBL
01-07-2008, 06:56 AM
thats pretty fast....i gotta try that lol

TheRedBarron
01-07-2008, 10:38 AM
Tito both of those sleds are capable of much faster than 105.

Hoppy, you are still a nub.

I will find an 800 that will rival the bumble...

Oh there one is right in my own garage sheesh that was easy.

Hoppy11
01-07-2008, 12:27 PM
The airport was only so long and I swear that Ski Doo is putting rev limiters on thier sleds now like the Sea Doos because I do agree with Barron that they are capable of much much more, but his sled will not touch the new 800 whatever he says.

Oh.. and don't go out and buy a huge sled and run up to 100 right away. You will kill yourself.

Nice!
question, do you ever ride across a pond in the summer, cause I've seen people do it with ease

Hoppy11
01-07-2008, 05:05 PM
I have done it, but not with those sleds, worth way tooooo much to take the chance.

TheRedBarron
01-07-2008, 07:37 PM
Hoppy I would put money on my 800 over the bumble any day 1/4 1/2 or 1 mile...
