i wanna halfback my pilot, and i've been told you can do it as far as the last oring. But the ACS bolt has no orings to go by. So har far do you think i can go back?

I'd go with the last o-ring. I think its like 3 inches from the feedneck towards the back of the gun is where you dont want to go any farther...if that made sense.

Sorry missed that. Try 3 inches from the feedneck and back.

alright, chances with this not working since the acs bolt has no orings to seal up the air?

As far forward as the slot for the pin that connects the bolt and striker.

Buy a new bolt :D

From what I've heard three inches back from the feedneck is a safe distance.

not looking to put in any money into this gun, its more of my loner and beater im trying to make cool looking. I plan on adding jb weld to this sucker and do some cool milling on everything on the gun. The grip frame, the trigger, frontblack, lpc, and see if i can shorten the marker and more

if you just want it to look cool just buy a used non-acs bolt, which would just cost you a few bucks
spending a few bucks on a new bolt isnt going to make or brake you, or I'm sure someone would be glad to trade bolts

Ok I'm sure he just said he wasnt putting money into this gun.

measure 3 inches from feedneck to the back of the gun. From there and back is a safe distance to cut.

he doesnt have to he could trade it for a non-acs bolt
