View Full Version : FPS of a Brand new MR2?

I just bought an MR2 2 yesterday and wanted to know if what the Preset FPS is or is it always different based on the barrel and type of air? right now I have the stock barrel and I'm using Co2. Thanks.

I don't know about the MR2s but the MR1s come out the box shootin' hot. Definatly need to chrono your marker.

It really depends on the field where you play. No one shoots over 300. I don't think the masks are rated for much more than that. Most of the fields that i play at let you shoot 280. I feel that this is a good number for your marker as well. the harder my marker shoots the less accurate it becomes.
280 is around what most fields set the standard at. From what I've heard a lot of MR2's come out of the box shooting around 300+ so I would highly suggest getting the marker chrono'd before playing.

There is a velocity screw located jusr underneith the stock, turn that counter clockwise to lower the velocity.
