mr1s are right detented, so a pilot acs bolt should work since its dual detented

i'm looking at the manual, and it looks like a top-cocking ACS will work fine (i KNOW someone on here has one. talk to Ace24, i know he has an aftermarket bolt on his mr1). i think that the MR2/3s are the only ones with different bolts.

does your mr1 have an eframe?

the acs off of a pilot will not work. try going to alamo city pb and get one of their bolts,

I think thta they should work... they are .45 grips and i held my mr1 besdie the picture and they seem the right shape.. i dont mind if they stick out a bit as long as the screw holes are in the rihgt place

so will i have to drill holes?.. maybe stretch it on?.. there must be some way to get it on.. and by not fit.. do you mean that the holes are in the wrong spot or is it to big or what?

the only ones that will work are the spyder wrap around grips.

it will not fit i got the rocking trigger with acs anti chop bolt. i got the trigger on and went to put the bolt in but it didn't fir at all i tried every thing then i called kingman and the said it dosent fit don't waste your time. i would go with a almo city bolt i use the low blow bolt works great and adds a little distance and helps chopping.

There is no acs bolt designed for the MR-1. The application makes it difficult for the acs insert to stay in place so you can put the cocking knob through. I have modified an ACS bolt from the first version of the pilot acs bolts. I'm working on the final aluminum bolt.

acs dose not fit in the guy i tried it about a year ago when i got my rocking trigger the bolt is to big. i called kingman and they also said it will not fit.

it's not that the bolt is too big. The problem is all of the acs bolts have the bolt pin to the striker, there is not cut out in the receiver for the pin to go through.

between Alamo City's low blow and delrin bolts, which one is most likely to keep me from chopping?

They won't affect chopping any differently. If you buy a new bolt you'll need a hopper that can feed as fast as your shooting. If it were between those two I would buy the regular delrin one (thats what I have :)).

Well I bought the Alamo City Delrin bolt and hybrid Gen 7 grips.. and the grips fit and did not fit... the lower screws lined up perfectly the wrap around fit nicely and wow they feel good... but the top screws did not line up, i would have to stretch them to get them to line up but im fine with just two screws holding the grips on... tere is a tiny crack at the back where the grip frame has that big hole.. but no biggy for me i dont mind it... and my bolt has yet to come.. it was out of stock so i will tell you how it works out when it comes

There is no bolt for the mr1 that will help prevent chopping. Some aftermarket bolts have other advantages, but not chop pervention.

the low blow is supposed to put back spin on the ball with extra air. i have heard it is a air hog and doesn't work as well. just get the regular with 2 orings

Has anyone tried a top cocking JAM bolt in an MR1? Looks like it could work.

as Long as when it slides past the ball detents it doesn't cut them off... and if it fits in right it should
