View Full Version : PMR or SLG?

I was planning on buying a new gun with my X-mas money and B-Day money

I have a Halo b And might get a DXS 48/45 for X-mas

I was looking at the Proto SLG. It looks cool. Light and very fast in vids.($250)

Since the price of PMR's went down I also started loking at that. ($250)

Which one is better? Has anyone had problems with either of them/?

They are very close to eachother. The slg uses a sear tripping setup(i think), while the other is a gun that just went for 400, now to 250.
I would suggest a PMR, maybe even used. Check the BST.

What is EP? Elecrto Pneumatic?

What is the difference between the two, I have watched videos on youtube about it ... But it doesn't explain completly well?

How do you not know the difference between them?
Sear tripper is self explanatory.

The slg has more kick than the pmr. i would go with the pmr but thats just me

^it really does, its alot louder also,

you're better off getting the pmr for $50 more, the trigger is more walkable and has a clamping,

The one advantage of the SLG is efficiency, I believe.

I'm almost positive it gets like 1500 off a 68/45.

TBH though, the SLG is like no other sear tripper. Not by a LONGGGGGGG shot. Seriously, mechanics of it are so different that I would say its like that took a high end mech gun (a la tiberius arms Tac8 / T9) and then replaced the mech actuation of the sear with a solenoid. In fact, it works nearly identically to the Tac8..

go with the pmr slg has more kick and you will have to replace the feedneck right off the bat.only thing the slg has on the pmr is efficiency
