i have a freak barrel (the greatest) and there is some crap at the end of the barrel (inside of course) it is in the last...four inches or so. i can't get it off, i thought it was paint but it wont come off, i tried hot water and a wash cloth but none of it came off at all. i think it may be old paint that was never completely gone. since they make paintballs now out of some kind of oil based junk (they should at least mark on the boxes what is oil or water based because i play on a homemade field and it sucks cleaning it off) is there any kind of cleaner that does a good job? is there any chemicals i shouldn't use on the barrel

Have you tried simple, mild dish soap? I wouldn't try anything dramatic (Draino, anyone?), but mild detergents should work.

For like 5 minutes, soak the tip in hot, scalding water. Then use a straight-shot squeegee to pull out the gunk.
