VS3 spimmy. It would be under your $600 limit. You would know the marker inside & out because you built it. Plus I still havent seen a VS series spimmy yet.

For ~$600 I can think of some
-BL Protege
-06 MacDev Cyborg
-Planet Eclipse Ego6
Just to name a few, personally I would go for something like a UL'd PM6 and use the rest to get some new gear

EDIT* BTW, if you are interested in getting a new loader and are going to sell the Fasta LMK

PM7's are selling between $500-550. Best gun in that price range.

A VS series Spimmy is when you take timmy pats and put them into a Spyder body so esentualy(sp) you have a timmy, however i dot yhink you would want to do it with a VS because that was one thing i as looking at doing when i had my VS2 but they would have to be alot of milling dont to the body the frame or both becaus e the VS body is flat on the bottom wheras the other spyder guns are rounded just like timmy clamshells

http://www.freewebs.com/vikesbuildaspimmy/ and http://www.ottersccustoms.com/timmy.html both go over how to build a Spimmy. I don't know about the bottom of the VS being incompatable for a Spimmy conversion, but I'm sure that you could modify the frame using a Dremel to mount on flat surfaces.

Personally, though, if your gun isn't working for you like you'd hope, I'd get another marker and have the VS3 as a back-up. DYE/Proto Matrices are all good markers, as well as Shockers, Mini's, Timmy's, and pretty much any gun in the $200-350 range is decent. What tank and hopper do you have? Keep in mind with the marker price for a hopper and tank to go with it if you don't have them already. You don't have to spend $600 to get a good starter tournament gun anymore. One in my aforementioned price range will suit you just fine.
