welcome to winter... haha, here its been well below freezing for the last month, snowing almost every day, the ski hills are all open (less one, but thats just cause the govt shut them down...). Oh well, Weather like this is good for the Igloo, and the sled dogs are all ready for a new season, as well, this year was particulary good in the way of hunting for food, so as long as the deep freeze doesnt melt this year, we should have plenty of food to go around. But i better get going before the laptop heats up too much, or i lose sattalite signal

:stupid:

its cold out here, but dry as heck... i came home from school today and my dad made me fix the christmas lights because he decided to redneck it this year and duct tape them to the awning, and by the time i was done taping them back up, my hands were numb, which reminded me of frostbite, which reminded me of all the no-snow...

edit: germany even has snow! and the whole time i was there we didnt get snow til beginning/mid january.

I live right outside of Hartford, CT and we got a little snow this morning but mostly freezing rain. Now that all the trees are covered in ice it gets nice and windy! Can anyone say power failure?

DUDE!!! You have to get a pic of the duct taped lights!!!

We had some ice at the shop this morning. There was some in a few tires on the side & the cap that goes on the used oil bulk pack.

We got it really bad Thursday night. It snowed all day and then to top it off, in the evening it started to rain so everything was frozen solid! But the good thing was I got to sleep in because we had a 2 hour delay at school

Cold as snot here in Detorit, MI. I know the resorts are cranking out the man made snow and are open now but I will not be riding for atleast 2 or 3 weeks because of finals. The lake effect machine has been on for almost a week in the UP where we snowmobile and in the Northern LP where we also snowmobile so my Christmas sled trip is looking good so far. :D Plus the huge system that went through Saturday evening/night dumped a up to a foot in most places in the Northen LP and UP and then had a slight rain and ice period. Sounds bad but turned out really good because it created a pretty damn good base for the trails that shouldn't get torn up too quickly and with the Lake Effect still coming it will just get better and better up there. Oh I can't wait to ride the new Rev XP 800x :D :D :D

It is getting cold in Mankato, MN. We got about 3-4" of snow this weekend and then some rain to top it off and make things miserable. They are forecasting 2-3" today... need more snow to get the snowmobile out. Temps are ranging in the high 20's and in the single digits at night. I love winter!!

It's supposed to be 74 degrees here today. In December.

But, this weekend it's supposed to be in the lower 30's with rain and snow, so we'll see. It's been off and on cold, with only one day with some snow that didn't stick...

North Carolina = roller coaster when it comes to temps. It was pretty chilly today.

I will say, though, that our chances for snow later in the year are looking decent because it usually doesn't get very cool before January here, and we've had some pretty good cold snaps in November and now early December, so we're keeping out fingers crossed for some of that fluffy stuff..:D

So for the next week at least were stuck at -30 (-20 F), snow every night, wind chills, and the fact that any exposed skin is at risk of frostbite within 2 minites

Woke up to an inch on the ground and car today. Not a ton but still is nice to wake up too. But since Im in Detroit it turns my 5 minute drive into a 15 minute drive because no one here knows how to drive in any type of weather. Also even just acouple flurries coming down means that they put 50,000 pounds of salt every 10ft.

I got school today. Bummer...but at least it stopped snowing after 2 straight days. :D

Who needs a Doberman to guard your house when you have a Schnouzer in a coat?

Even the dogs are ready for winter.
