first time i went out to go shoot my vs2 (its used btw) it wont recock. of course, thats not where the problem ends, when i fire it, i can watch the gauge go from 200 down to about 125 then slowly recharge back up to 200. could it possibly be a problem with my reg?? im gonna rebuild it tonite and see if that will work, if not im lost. i changed the o-ring on the striker at the field and still does the same thing. i have the reg set at about 200 psi, the velocity adjuster almost all the way in and its only shootin at like 178 fps. I NEED HELP!!!! (thats a given, but this kinda help doesnt require medication lol!) thx

Turn the pressure up on the reg. There's not alot of stock VS2's shooting at 200psi most are around 225 to 250psi. A couple drops of oil into the reg./asa and dryfire should take care of the recharge issue. If the reg. isn't broken in it will drop in pressure while shooting but will get more consistent.

ok, just replaced the rebuilt reg, it needed cleaning but thats not the prob. no more recharge prob, but it still wont recock.it is rechargin a lil slow, but not enough to keep it from re-cocking.i turned the reg up to about 250 and theres still like 1900 psi left in my tank. ne more suggestions??

if your velocity is only at 178 than thats your problem......

i didnt think low velocity would cause no recock. plus, my velocity adjuter is almost capped still

Keep raising the pressure up to 300psi and see what happens. Don't go above you'll run a risk of breaking the gauge.

Have you comletely cleaned the gun? Also put a little oil on the detents the bolt could be catching them causing the bolt not to recock.

Back your velocity adjuster out all the way then turn it in 1 1/2 turns. Then adjust pressure to get you FPS wanted then use the velocity adjuster to fine tune if needed.

just fully cleaned, changed every o-ring in it, removed the detents and first shot......recocked!!! went to shoot again, and it burped out. turned the velocity adjuster up, and the reg up to about 280, same deal. i think i either have a busted reg or gauge. the gauge my be busted already and not showin me the right psi im at. imma try a diff gauge and come back to ya, so far thx for the help guys!!!

Make sure there's no friction between the bolt and detents.
