Hello - I recently picked up a spyder compact with a nasty case of trigger bounce. Help! What can I do to fix this? I totally disassembled, cleaned and oiled it but still no luck. TIA.

trigger bounce as in more than one shot per pull?
spray and pray

too sensitive. That or you need a new microswitc I think you would need a lighter one.

He/she doesnt need a new swtich. Just adjust the set screws on the trigger & tweak the spring a little. Pull on it a little & put it back in will make it stiffer & harder to bounce.

uh, guys, not to rain on your parades or anything, but youre both wrong. because compacts dont have eframes...

What if one was swapped onto it?? ;)

then it wouldnt be under semi-autos most likely.
this just came to me: its a compact, so its seen some use. ill bet that the sear is rounded off and thats why its not catching.

Thanks for the replies. It has a standard trigger and I believe that I need a new sear and trigger. Where can I get these parts? TIA.

b/s/t is about the only place. if its not too bad, you can always sand it straight again.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is b/s/t?
